By accessing or using Joind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Joind is a location-based social platform that allows users to pin activities on a map and connect with others who want to join. The Service includes a mobile application and website. Some features may require a paid subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Joind. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. User Conduct

When using Joind, you agree not to:

• Post content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, intimidate, or harm other users
• Create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity
• Spam, solicit, or advertise without prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it

6. Activities and Meetups

Joind facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline. You participate in activities and meetups at your own risk. We encourage users to exercise caution and meet in public places. Joind does not conduct background checks on users.

7. Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Joind. By posting content, you grant Joind a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Joind may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by Joind and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim all liability for any harm arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joind and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Joind in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
